Important things to know about Sedona:

-everything closes early. Fast food is wrapped up by 10 pm and all other places by 9 at the latest however we experienced more places closing even earlier like around 7 or so.

-during COVID times, it seems reservations are the way to go to guarantee dinner at a spot you have your eyes on

-appears there isn’t much of a nightlife scene

Beautiful area, very spiritual, vortexes aren’t as easy to get to as bloggers make it seem

Things are fairly spread apart

Lots of rotaries

Service is spotty if not a Verizon customers and even then it’s spotty sometimes

It’s dry! Chapped lips and errything

Parks- seems like we hit a sweet spot of arriving around 10 a.m.ISH to parks- plus side is there’s likely parking con is it’s hot by then

Hiking can be steep and strenuous and not well marked.

Helpful to mindful of where you’re hiking, following guidance from maps and hiking apps like all trails. There aren’t always hiking markers along the way.

Mindful of where you’re parking! One spot we went to was towing those who were not parked within designated areas.

If you have an annual park pass you can park at all of the parks without paying additional fees. Makes sure it’s displayed.
